Business and Tourist Visas Ltd (BAT Visas) Terms and Conditions

By instructing Business and Tourist Visas Ltd (“BAT Visas”) to act as your agent for the provision of visas and other consular services, you agree to all the terms set out below.

  1. BAT Visas recommends that you do not purchase tickets or make bookings which cannot be cancelled or changed prior to the issuance of a visa, except where it is a specific requirement of the visa application.
  2. BAT Visas will at all times endeavour to process applications for visas, passports and/ or support documents at the clients’ request.  However it is the responsibility of the client to check the validity of the passport, visa or document issued to ensure that it covers the period of stay requested, the number of entries required and is also valid for the purpose of trip.
  3. BAT Visas reserves the right to return any passport or application without the requested visa if the passport or documents provided do not comply with the embassy’s requirements or if there is insufficient time to obtain the visa. BAT Visas also reserves the right to refuse, at its total discretion to handle any application or carry any item at any time and no reason need be given.
  4. BAT Visas will not be responsible for delays and/or extra expense incurred as a result of incomplete and/or false information on application forms and/or documents.  Nor will BAT Visas be held liable for the following occurring at any consulate, embassy or passport office: additional documents being requested, rejection of applications, fee changes, delays and process time changes, loss or damage to passports/ documents, issue of incorrect visas/ documents.  BAT Visas’ service charge and any fees levied by the embassy/consulate to consider the application are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application. Any subsequent relodge will incur the service charge and consulate fees.
  5. In the event of loss or damage to a passport or documents received and proven to be the negligence of BAT Visas, liability will be limited to the actual value of the passport and documents up to a maximum of £75 per applicant. BAT Visas accepts no liability for consequential loss.
  6. Visa processing times do not account for Public or National holidays and are based on BAT Visas receiving applications before 17.00 for submitting the next working day.  Additional charges will apply if applications are received after this time and next day lodging is still required.
  7. BAT Visas will not be responsible for any embassy, consulate or passport office closing without prior notice or earlier than their advertised opening hours.  Changes to visa requirements can also occur at short notice.  BAT Visas will however strive to provide accurate information wherever possible.
  8. The service charge which shall be payable by the client in respect of services provided by BAT Visas is addition to any consular/ embassy or passport office charge. BAT Visas reserves the right to raise its charges at any time with or without prior notice.
  9. Non-account customers must pay in advance or on completion of an application.  Account holders will be granted a 30 day settlement period from date of invoice.
  10. BAT Visas reserves the right to retain all passports/ documents until payment is received in full.
  11. Unless instructed otherwise, BAT Visas will send completed applications by Royal Mail Special Delivery for which a charge will be made. BAT Visas accepts no liability for loss, damage or delays incurred when using third party delivery companies, including but not limited to Royal Mail Special Delivery, same day couriers, UK overnight couriers, international courier services, all of which are subject to the conditions set by these individual companies.
  12. BAT Visas Ltd will advise you if we deem any support documents unsuitable for processing yet if you insist on submission, should the application then be rejected this will result in a complete loss of all fees.
